Might the reason be that this mine is inside a cave? Also, should I start a seperate thread in the bug forum with this?

For Jorb........the sling is useless. With a bow of 160 ,marksmanship 300 and stone arrow, aim-bar wont move.
VERY bad (plz change it or, restore old hunting way )

Your bow quality isn't capping anything there. Your MM is capped at twice your arrow's quality.

Because that fucks shit up.

It's better to just give stone arrows stupid low damage (or no damage like stones) and have them give no IEMM.

If they did that then they might aswell just bring slings back

If they did that I'd incline to leave speed where it is on wooden bows, it'd still just barely match farming in terms of LP, and I'd still rather farm.

Either way something has to give and there needs to be an arrow without IEMM or it's all shit. Most of the ranged system needs to be redone ground up IMO either way, just go with stickman's idea.

Sotsa wrote:Ugh, can we please have all tasks give the same amount of LP?
before, farming and hunting were a close match in LP gain.
Now farming is the definite way to go (it was superior in the first place if you placed some pts in farming.)
but i really, really kinda dislike farming.
got nothing against harvesting some crops and making some stuff, for the sake of the stuff.
but when you harvest patch upon patch upon patch upon patch of shit, it gets boring fast.
so can we please have more alternate ways of gaining lp? I don't really care if hunting used to be stupid and unrealistic, it was an alternate way of getting lp if you didn't want to farm.

i just don't want to farm.

:(

Listen to this man, as he stated somewhere else he is only telling the truth. I don't want to play farmville on hardcore mode.

do some testing in your test realm, check what amount of time completing different tasks take, figure out what is the same amount of work- time using the most efficient method, then how many actions taken within that that are rewarded with LP and make that shit equal for everything apart from simple tasks like digging and chipping stones which are very suspectible to macro abusage.

I know it won't be equal but you can atleast manage more viable ways to gain LP than what there currently is?

or something
Before you take insult to this post, keep in mind that I am simply a warrior of truth.
