Hey gifttiger weren't you the one just freakin out about 10 posts back saying you have better things to do then play this game and stuff? Just thought I'd throw that out there,
And yes I'd imagine it'd be quite time consuming and difficult having a farm but I still believe it should take a bit longer and a bit more "survival" to get to the point of having an axe and a saw which you can basically build anything wood related with the right skill learned. I don't think a lone survivor could ever slap a stock piece and a stick together and have any sort of quality cutting device, let alone hacking giant trees down like childs play.
I wanna struggle a little more to survive and pull through, due to the harshness of the environment. IE. the cold dark nights, Unknown plants that I can chance eating to survive until I know whats good for me and whats not through trial and error, such as I eat one plant and I can't run only walk due to pain in my stomach and maybe a increased loss of stamina for a while, I'd like to see basically all small plants look like a generic "plant" sprite until I pick each one and try different things with it to see what it's best for and once I "discover" it all other generic "plant" sprites that were that plant all become there proper sprite. I just wanna see more realistic scenarios for survival. but NOT in the form of having brown bears beat me to the ground over and over, chances or a bear attack in even the most bear dense parts of the world are still less likely then me dying in a car crash driving to a nearby food mart. And also if a brown bear was to swing at you just once, whether you were wearing wood clogs or not, your odds of survival would be very slim. I got hit 3 times and lost I think 17 hard hit points and my nice pair of clogs? Whats the bear doing anyways, pulling Street fighter style leg sweeps on me???

,
I'm just being mouthy and poking fun. All in all I like the game and I realize this kinda stuff takes time, consideration and a lot of effort and thought, I just can't wait to see what can be done with it!
Whats with the goats, raccoons and frogs anyways? I'm assuming they're gonna be of value sometime in the future? And where are the natural bee hives hanging from trees?
