i hit and run with a bow after avu from docks to a cabin, do you really think you can outrun someone who is there to kill you and is trained in that discipline. or ask that guy in cop who tried to run away, he had decent stats so he wasnt down with one hit, but he still died when we were there 2 weeks ago.

I've outran Klaue once. Granted, he wasn't going to kill me, but he didn't seem to be slacking off when he chased me.

Oh, and I always win when I race people with boats.

you have to be lucky that there is a boat, i would destroy it when i knwo that the opponent could run away. But even if there IS a boat you cant have that much advantage so i wont get to the shore fast enough to start destroying it. Obviously this needs fixing though.

You can still outrun someone on foot if you pick a better path through trees, cliffs, wall mazes etc.

Anyway, I think that a foot race is the only way to settle this.

You are forgetting that you cant run through wood for 30seconds without water and if someone is there to kill you he will obviously have a decent amount of decent water or tea in his inventory HOTKEYED.

A flask of q80ish is enough to get sufficient distance to lose aggro and port away.

If he is standing there looking like a moron it is. Usually you're dead before the game loads for you so they don't even have to run.
