@LadyV
Sure there are Alps in South Germany -> Zugspitze :)

About wrote:set in a fictional world loosely inspired by Slavic and Germanic myth and legend

no Celts (but also no Balts or Ugro-Finns...) - that's why i think northern europe

btw. Hanibal moved with his army from Iberia (Spain) over the Pyrenees (Spain/France) and the Alps (France/Swiss) into Italy

For now they are just spawned, but as soon as we get the mapgen up, they are intended to be cave entrances, just like they currently work.

If it were released right now, I'd probably have a heart attack and still manage to log in before succumbing to excitement and checking into a free Canadian healthcare facility across the street.

you said you had doubts, that means you have had doubt about hafen in the past, kick this doubter from the alpha!
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

Actually, I've never thought about this. Is there going to be an early access? Or are you guys waiting to release the game when it's complete (and later add more features ofc)?
Also, open or closed?
Hope you have a great day

I was thinking a lot on this new idea of not having the chance to start with friends, and it does make me curious about how it can come out, considering that it can be a good experiment, except for a couple of things that worry me.

Up to now we organized the towns and divided the tasks to get resources and Q developed as fast as possible, we used team work to be able to compit and grow, as a way to share and deffend ourselves.

My first concern is that if we spawn apart and have hard times to get together we loose the benefits of having a working team, at least for the starting time. People that use bots will have much more chances than non-bot players to develop their chars, get a nice town and good stuff?.
I never used bots (not because I dont like them, but because Idk how to, I dont care about them) but I do like to be able to have nice stuff and I want to have the chance of working to have it, I would really hate to be left behind by botters and not have any chance to develop like them because we loose the sinergy of our team.

The second subject I fear is that the game as it is has a way to make me feel lonely, I asked about this to others and I believe it is a rather common feeling. I guess it comes from so much grinding, and the way I found to get around it is this same team work with friends added to using skype.
Im afraid that making it harder to meet or live together will make me feel even more lonely.

This reads as if the sufferer only gets medical assistance if the heart attack is exciting enough. I can just imagine them dying of 'meh' because the heart attack wasn't crazy enough. You know, like a hiccup or something.

As long as there's a good way for that to be used that isn't a threat to having one in or next to a village that's actually a good concept. If it's made from mats that you can't get too early game then it still has the starter effect that JLo want of random spawns and diversity etc, but allows villagers to recruit new characters with a bit more ease, and means that if your hearthfire is destroyed and then you die, you don't have to wilderness spawn and then have to potentially walk the entire distance of the world (assuming village port is gone, which it sounds like it is)

P.S looking forward to hunting you in the new world Pop <3
