Same way you run from anyone who's smart...run in a straight line till you find a boat.

A) It was broken that you could log off or insta hearth when you saw someone, anyway

B) yes, it still is broken that you can insta aggro someone else at max visual range.

EVE has to be the biggest PvP MMO around. Anywhere you go you are at risk of being shot down. It took them a long time to get mechanics down to a "fair" balance, and they have a pretty large dev team working on these things. This is two guys working on two projects at once. Cut 'em some slack!! They're getting things fixed. It just sucks it took breaking things to get it done.

Read some combat tutorials? .

It won't help until you are not a complete nolifer with 500 unarmed. Especially vs a group of high-end equipped players.

10 seconds hearthing is not a fix. Its ruining. Stop players from using a custom clients is a better fix.
I'd rather play in official client with ability to instant hearth by hotkey than in comfortable ender's with 10 seconds waiting.

Wrong. Go talk to people in ainran. They will tell you otherwise. You need some decent UA now a days anyways :).

Hearth vaults, 20 layers of wall. Never go outside.

There should have been a delay of some sort to port back to begin with. Everyone here just got spoiled with instant warping wherever they wanted.

The fact is that people were modding the client well before the source was ever released. There's a discussion on it around here if you want to be bothered looking it up. Even without an OSS client, Java is very easy to hack. If you want to go back to the original client, do it. Nobody will stop you. Nobody is making you use a third party app.

I would feel comfortable with 200 UA. And i would still be relatively confident i could kill most people with 150 MC ;).

I don't much know java but there is exists such thing like checksums right? And AFAIK, even Minecraft has some kind of serverside anticheat.

...and you should not shoot through brick walls and palisades
...and animals should not run on swampland
...and bears should be able to swim
...and you should not be able to milk a male aurochs
...and you should not be able to eat-get tired-eat as many times as you want
but this is just a game conventions like fast travel.

Yes, I would play on official client even if everyone use custom ones but only if I be able to return home in the blink of an eye.

Already done. Except of 18 more layers.

I like PVE more and always trying to avoid battles (I'm sure not only me) and I'm not a nolifer :(
