Now a question regarding Decay:

Is decay random? I've had one drying frame go red 3 times, the others untouched, all on paved (stone) ground. One coffer which spent most of its time indoors, when taken outdoors and set on stone paved ground YESTERDAY went red today, the other three I have which have all been outside their entire existences are fine.

Is this normal?

yes it is random. and put up a claim, most things don't decay on a claim.

Well that may be more useful to know. Now I just have to figure out how to make the claim BIGGAR to encompass that area.

Actually, new question - considering a village claim: I saw in W3 that Sodom had a village claim at their true city area, but also a village claim at a mine I passed once -- How does that work? Can you build a statue outside the existing village claim and have it claim an area, but have that area still be part of the original village? Or can a particular player be part of two villages?

You can build flags/statues from your village to the desired destination, and then destroy the inbetween flags/statues to effectively create an island of your village authority.

On the topic of villages...

Anyone know how teleporting calculations work for underground villages to above ground?

do unharvested plants q drop the longer they go unharvested? i noticed that some of my plants q have either dropped or stagnated. i havent picked them in a day or so. my farming level is around 20 and the soil is about q 20 as well. and my grapes stopped at around q 5.

Is fighting on boats any useful? Some Russian kid chased me today for like one hour and then decided to just give up. Was pretty much a waste of time but had he ever a realistic chance to kill me? Didn't look that way to me but I'm a newbie, so I wouldn't know.
