Different dimensions of quality just seems annoying with simple item stuff (non weapon/armor). Reminds me of the hassle of cattle with q40 meat and q8 milk.

I like that idea somewhat.
it may not be great for hermits like me, but you can have a herd of cattle with nice Q skin, and a herd with nice Q meat, and a herd with nice Q milk xD
the real issue would be feeding them all.... villages anyone??
of course you can always just slaughter all the young that arent better than their parents in every way >_>
loftar: New hair styles? Really? Seeing how Jorb never gets off his lazy ass to draw some, I almost want to add them to the game proper.
jorb: stfu n00b.

It'll definitely be interesting to see it in work, but I just have a feeling it's going to be a pain more than anything. We will see I guess.

Is this more like an action/adventure or an RPG?

It's a Crafting & Building MMO, but I'd imagine it would have some degree of an RPG in it because of it's setting.

I'd like the sound of a RPG but it worries me since I'd hate to have a curios system in it

Don't count on it. I expect it certainly won't be a system of gaining xp like in previous worlds.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

Wood.

People should stop growing just a single damn type of tree.
Certain trees should then have different qualities and properties, crops should have different qualities, it's been gone over a lot (also irrigation, fuck yeah).

You may grow trees that are good for burning, or you may grow trees good for crafting into items, or some better suited for houses, for example.

you may have fibres better suited for cloth, or better suited for feed. \ o/ Who knows, but dimensions of quality seems cool as long as it's not over done.
