I know that's harsh on a lot of you who are used to starting each world together and building up together, which is lovely, ofc, but don't you like the idea of a bit more of a challenge?
It's exciting! You'll have to depend on your own wits to survive initially and it's not like you aren't still developing your char, albeit slower. You only have to make temporary bases, not massive great big settlements, or, muck in with those around. Who knows what new friends or enemies you'll make along the way, it opens us all up more.
The map doesn't take long to appear and then whoever has found the best spot, the others migrate towards them, still learning and developing as you go. It's not like the one with the best spot is going to have got everything all set up and sorted on their own, well unless it's Xcom, lol, so you'll still be setting up the village together. It's going to be fun, I think you'll enjoy it more than you realize.
Certainly painting a pretty picture for wilderness-only spawns. "They will form communities with strangers met ingame!"
How very kind, understanding and fanciful~! What exactly are you basing this off of?
More likely this change will be nothing more than a nuisance to dedicated players and something that drives off curious, uninvested players.
