Server issues: New server

There is something wrong with the server's NIC, causing it to drop all traffic for a period of some 10 seonds every now and then. The frequency of such bouts seem to be loosely related to the amount of traffic

I just moved to a place with a lot less bandwidth - is it just me lagging more than I was a day after the server shutdown or is the lag still bad? And is there any work in progress to try and fix it? It's definitely more endurable than after that OS upgrade, but still discouraging...

Loftar is testing things to see what helps but he still has to root out the core of the problem. How long that takes is anyone's guess.

No reason to not have some fun with it ... If only to get rid of some playing frustrations ... and to up the pressure a bit.

I am having internet lag spikes as well. Everything will be fine, then it all comes to a standstill for 5 - 10 seconds, and then it is fine again. The game is playable...but it gets rather annoying.
