maybe crossroads (and bridges) could get an aura that makes it impossible to build there, just like building signs already cover the complete area of the finished construction. It was possible before to not build items at places, this doesnt have to be an exception. On the combat thing, just like normal village or HF travelling, you can make it impossible when in a combat situation, plus you can make it cost TW, but then there should be an additional way for people to reduce TW if they dont have a bed, wine, beer or tobacco, a simple one that doesnt require them to build another bed in the wilderness while traveling

Teleporting people through bridges is yet another thing that will get people stuck on each other, which is quite annoying and gives a nice breach for exploits. I think they should be avoiding any kind of teleporting as much as possible on new features.
