I take full and complete responsibility for everything that our games are, were and ever will be, thank you very much.

I am immensely proud of them, and I do not consider them to be failures in any way, shape or form. Quite the contrary.

Because I was talking about the games themselves, and not about the way you handle them and their communities. ¦]

That's what it says in less elevated language. You will need to infer meaning to get more out of it.

It is not a character trait that is particularly beautiful, and were I you I would not flaunt it.

Bob_the_Cat wrote:It is an rpg though. I do like it when skills > stats, but in the end someone high level will always beat skills, if they are high enough... So idk what could be done to change it, because if it was like minecraft style combat with no levels that would be a joke. I almost want to say a level cap would be good, cuz if many people were at the cap, then fighting you would have the same levels. Where now one guy will have 300, and the guy attacking him has 700... Theres just no competition, and some people dont have the time to get that high.

That is a statement of the true noob not willing to learn. If we take Haven, that situation when "stats beats skill" is much more deep than just simple numbers versus your "skill" (which is non-existent, i should say, knowing your experience in haven). These numbers are based on a fuckton of other things making this game. The speed of gaining these numbers depends on your faction, economics, development of your village, resources and dozens of other factors. People crying about big bad evil people with stats are mostly an idiots unable to start decent village with working inner economics and resource base, all they want is just join game and do MLG 720 NOSCOPE LEL 10 SWAG YOLO. Ignoring all dependencies I listed above means you are no more than a usual modern call of duty player (or similar shit) who wants to base his success on reaction time/luck instead of experience.

You shouldnt call people noobs not willing to learn when they have been playing just as long as you. And who have probobly killed more people, and been wanted on the forums more too. I know what I'm doing and I'm fully capable of gettign anything I want in the game.

The hard fact of life, is that for me to get 1000 UA is going to take much much longer then a villager. And when he attacks me with 1000 UA I'm going to get owned. Not because I have "NO SKILL" but because he dropped all my defense in one hit. This is the world of RPG's. Do I honestly want a level cap? No...

Thank you for being one of the many retarded people that play this game and think they are amazing

I don't want you to make you feel sad, kid, but your only achievement over haven I know of, was stealing a few shits here and there (maybe also killing a few newbies) and moving it to unbreakable vault in cave near my village. Even though vault was protected by non-mineable area of the cave and entrance was blocked with large stake claim we managed to put a vclaim there and declaim it. Although, there were no scents out that time, and it seemed like you noticed your "vault" getting down, so even 24/7 camping around your hf didn't helped much in the case of punishing your for your ego. Probably, you decided you are too skillful to fight some village guys and dropped haven for almost a world.

Returning to main topic, this game is RPG. What is most important, it's MMORPG. This means that social interaction in this game is one of the key features leading to domination in any area. That fact that you don't have friends (or can't make them play, or can't join any other community, whatever) doesn't mean this game should be about 720noscopeyolo#swag with no stats and just pure running around clicking the target. If J&L would ever want this kind of game they would never make farming, mining, villages and all that social crap you cannot get into. In current state this game does not require much time to have decent stats, an hour or two per day can let you build pretty decent characters based on decent industry/resources. But I'm afraid your problem is not in time, but in that fact that you can't learn anything about haven mechanics. I guess foraging is too complicated for you, because instead of killing newborn newbies you should do something boring and pathetic, eww, real tough kids never do this things! Since foraging is also based on stats (as well as almost any other activity in haven) it is an area completely closed for you because of your inability to learn and apply your knowledge.

As a conclusion, I think you should start playing some generic MMORPG to have sweet keelz without need to do something nerdy and pathetic like learning something and building industry. Well, probably you came to haven from some game like that, it could explain everything.

I understand you take pride in your work and there's nothing wrong with that, but there is a difference between taking pride in your work and strapping yourself to a sinking ship.

You are one of the many forum users that only uses the forums to rage at people, because your life sucks and all you do is play this game. Please at least say something legit
