I look forward to no hs spawns. My neighbour in w6 was a good friend, one day I found his corpse by the river and I didn't know him out of the game. So he really did die on me.

I see your point though I am not so certain it is necessarily a bad thing, such circumstances could easily allow for more deceptive situations to occur. Although, I do share the same concern as many others regarding the pieces of shit who infiltrate villages for the sole purpose of their destruction.

While this is a legitimate style of play for this game, it is already incredibly difficult to prevent this from happening under the current system without completely stopping a village's recruiting efforts altogether. I fear such changes like the removal of hearth secrets will only make this scenario a worse one.

Yeah mysterious neighbors are the best, have had similar experiences.
The low life has lost its appeal
And I'm tired of walking these streets
To a room with its cupboards bare

H&H is not your shiny toy, it's the neighbor kid's toy, and you have been allowed to play with it, now he's trading it for a newer toy he thinks he'll like more, and he thinks you might like it more too.

Whoa i'm used to use second hand stuff all my life (even wearing off neighbor kid's clothes) - can i haz neighbor kid's old toy then?!?

I don't have problems to team up with people that spawn next to me by chance when a new world starts - but from my experience with too many people going inactive to fast i decided to team up with certain people that play constantly next world ... if i can't i'll handle it.
But with all other stuff changinging i'm a bit sceptical about having fun ... (maybe judging from my experiences with Salem too)

So has it been decided about the no spawning from hearthfires or this something that is just being randomly discussed?

Not being randomly discussed...

My opinion is thats the stuff that keeps the game interesting. Its fun to hate those scumbags.

Honestly the last worlds I played in salem / haven, we didn't get killed/drama we just got bored of the game and went inactive. In salem I even set up with strangers and possible tribal spies I met in the world, (haven w7 I was in somewhat organised town).

I would rather die and rage quit until next world, it leaves much more favourable memories. And I've never thought much of seatribe games longterm, due to endless character progression.

I mostly just like the world start phase, which no hs will definitely prolong.

I actually didn't see your point, I thought you were implying sarcasm to your example to make the point that removal of hearth secrets would mean you possibly have lost that 'friend' forever, and were against it rather than for.

I was confused.

Amanda - love your way of playing the game. :D Good job on napping Nao. I feel so safe now. I like the idea of coordinations, longitude, latitude and hope this might happen. :)

Well, the alt creation is a legit concern but i completely disagree on the groups not starting together part. That is kinda dumb. I dont think i can convince a friend to try this game out if he cant play with me immediately. And that's even worse for communities.
