Wait, wasn't it pretty much a requirement to have
a gun for most early settlers?... what?... illegal gun
trade?.... err...

Soooo any news on progress? any dates of a trailer
or testing? =D

Last I checked, you don't need a license to carry a gun in the US unless you have a felony conviction or wish to carry concealed. Hell, some states give the right to use deadly force just to protect property.

EVERYONE had firearms.... well, nearly everyone. There always have been the 'no weapons' group, but that didn't really start showing up in the US until the mid-19th century due to all the gun violence in frontier towns and some of the religious movements of the time.

And I agree. I want to see some more news on the game! It's been a month now. More news!!

also, great work jorb, i cant wait to be able to play this, though in a review i read something about using bile? to get out of the 'newb starting area' does that mean we have to use skills to get out of the creation room as such?? the reviews never seem as fufiling as reading straight from a dev..

Shotguns are great.... for hunting or for blowing the doorknob out of a door. It's all a matter of gauge and load. :) Also, I'm not going to claim to know more, as anyone that actually hunts, is in the military, or needs to carry for protection of their livestock pretty much knows everything there is to know about guns. I say just laugh at the noob.

If you want to know more about 'bile', check out some info on what passed for medicine during the baroque period. Correct me if I'm mistaken, the stat bars are named for some of the humours of the body.

Also, to Jorb: Didn't I read something on the Paradox forums about shooting for late spring for beta starting? Isn't it about that time? :D
