People with dynamic IP's would be fucked. They couldn't log into their character that they made while using another IP.
It's not realistically possible to remove alts from the game. The best thing they can do to combat it, which is what they attempted to do in Salem, is to make it increasingly less desirable to have them in the first place.

I disagree. yea the infrastructure needs to be there, but throwing vandal alts by the droves, just to get the recources not to mention raids galore. they practically risk nothing(except the vandal alt) and if the only answer is to Raid? not all of us are a bunch of cutthroats,TeckXKnight wrote:They're able to do that because they've invested years of time into building characters, industry, and preparing for this. Having a world where people are able to raid each other regularly solves the problem of having characters with millions of lp.
it wasn't that hard a deal, just look at W6 and all the deaths that came. only the new players felt the "perma death" concept, most villages and players who had any knowledge of the on goings of W6 totally bypassed the whole "perma death" aspect of H&HTeckXKnight wrote: I admit this is not a perfect or completely elegant solution but it is Really difficult and time/work intensive to develop an industry that can regularly give one character a sizeable amount of lp a day, let alone multiple.
