Not if you have to be skilled to use the equipment.

Take it up your asshole.

Is it to much to ask for a more or less respectful thread?

Is it?

People are trying to have a discussion that is perfectly warranted in the subforum it is being posted and you are here spamming.

Fine carry on. Preferably with decorum. This thread has derailed to many times for me to not see the writing on the wall.

Well ya, but if some mega skilled player died, he could still just put some some high q gear he has in his base on the alt and the alt would be great, except that his constitution and stuff would suck.

So unless your agility and str and stuff mattered a lot, a system like this could be a very big problem. Cuz like if someone has a q 60 tin and copper node, they could just spam out tons of bronze for example and make an army of really tough alts. Gear is much more expendable then lp

There is already quite a large difference between people with high attributes and people with low attributes. I think that this idea is the best I've ever heard, simply because you would be getting a much more direct benefit from working hard. If you have cupboards full of cheese, you can almost instantly get the benefit from having made all that cheese by eating it. If you have cupboards full of edelweiss, you have to spent months studying them all. Having no UA/MC etc would also cut out the massive advantage of people who have grinded them high just because they've been around a long time without taking away the inherent advantage that people who have been alive a long time should have against newer players.

People who work hard and have been around for a while, just with higher attributes and better gear, will have an enormous advantage over newish characters. The difference is that this advantage can be surmounted with tactics, teamwork, and skill. I think that getting rid of MC/UA would level the playing field in a positive manner. That's just my two cents anyways.

Now that you put it that way, I do kinda like the sound of that. I feel like people could abuse it to make alt armies tho that could still be strong in numbers, even though their stats suck, because they could gang up on someone.

What would effect how much of their defense bar you drop? would it be your weapon q or your str? Cuz this is kinda important to how combat works. Unless you always have a set weight

There are those who feel that mob tactics should be viable. If nothing else, it would mean that a single raider couldn't curbstomp an entire village of nooblets by himself and might even require a little planning on the raider's part.

Something along the lines of "Gotta find a time where they're not online. Or bring more dudes. Or something, goddamn, I don't want to get killed by Farmer Joe And His Twenty Friends."

Haha ya I've massacred a few noob villages myself, it is pretty unbalanced right now.

Nooblet villages would only have like q30 leather armor though, while I would have bronze and stuff, so even with a new combat system there would still be a unbalance in power, but it wouldnt be nearly as bad. Cuz right now if a really sucky noob tries to punch you back nothing at all happens lol. It drops my bar by like 5.

Their biggest problem is that instead of ganging up on me they would all just run in different directions/ beg for mercy lol. Being a more complicated combat system then every other mmo game I've played, I feel like even if noobs could skill up armor to give them a chance in combat, they still wouldnt learn how to use it.
