Assuming we are all set for launch when our extraordinary dev session on Thursday night ends, we will begin bringing her up when we get to work again on Friday, around -- again, no exact numbers given -- 4-5pm UTC+2. Bringing her up may take some time, as there is a fair amount of administrivia involved, and no one expects anything but an unstable, crashing beast of a server for the first few hours/days.

But such are at least our loose plans at the time of this writing.

Animal Crossing has a great system for custom clothing designs

It basically lets you do pixel art and then it will print the design you've made onto clothing, umbrellas, etc

This same system could work really well for designing our own village banners and whatnot

Honestly it would be one of the coolest features to be added

"Losing things you buy in the store"... Hell yes you should be able to lose things you paid real money for. This is Haven, and if there aren't blood and tears you aren't in the Hearthlands. I know I'd pay for it, even at risk of losing it. If we could lose a bloody wolf cape, we better be able to lose $$ paid for items.

The entire point of monetization is that you make it so the majority wants to pay for it, not because you're a fucking masochist and want jnl to get your rocks off by paying you pay $5 every time you die, which will be a lot because you're such a huge fucking faggot

If haven was to be monetized with a cosmetic item store, then I think it is vastly better if those items are account bound. Not because it sucks to lose something you have paid real money for, but to prevent those items from being traded and thus distorting the in-game economy.

The best way to do it would probably to sell alternate appearances for standard items. For example, you could buy a "blue merchant robe", and if you activate that then any merchant robe you wear will be blue. If someone else puts on that same robe it will be the standard purple.

A subscription fee would be better though, to keep real money from interfering in the game at all.

This wouldn't prevent people from wanting to pay for it, also I know that my big faggoty ways makes your catamite hole get wet with anticipation, but I only fuck inside the species, thanks. However, there's a common ancestor of man that might be more on your level.
jorb: I don't want *your* money. You are rude and boring. Go away.
Sevenless: We already know real life has some pretty shitty game mechanics, it's why we're here instead.
Avu: The end is near it has finally come to pass: I agree with Lunarius...
Shubla: There are also other reasons to play this game than to maximize your stat gain.
