Well, they are also a cheap claim, especially during first few days, the way to get rid of other people claims (including traitors and inactive villagers in your own town), the only way to claim area between personal claims in your village, the claim which you can expand in any direction and which is hard to stop from expanding from the outside, unlike personal ones.

With teleports nerfed, idols would have no use other than a chore to keep auth up, and no village would have a need to make one.

¦] answer: in a single player game without Alts you don't need villages ...

serious: maybe we'll get some village management tools connected to idol finally

Imagine a group of people build a village, recruit more people and get strong. People who couldnt make a group and build a village yet will be in disadvantage. So there will be people like in Salem " the Tribe" making themselves strong and "dominating the world". Will that be balanced?
Be nice, the woods are aware of you.

W3 and 4 Hermitage
W5 Emberwood and Kirribilli, PANDEMONIUM
W6 MIRROR LAKE
W7 Tkearns village
W10 F&I
W12 BROLAND, Weasel's Blue Boar Inn, Grimmhold retirement
W13 Monke Spanish plot
W14 Kakariko village Druid
W15 Into the deep woods

Where are you Weasel!?!?

Can we at least kin people over distance? And will party arrows still exist? Because if I have to wait a month for maps to show up then go detective on the map to meet up with friends fuck that. I don't want a single player game. I get it's interesting as an experiment but really. I've played several and they get boring after a few days.

You are being incredibly naive.

And you are being incredibly short sighted, the fact that you don't want to start the world that way doesn't mean it's not possible, in what way am I being naive? I have hermited for three worlds now, how do you think I start every world? I am not speaking from lack of experience!
Yes, I may have put a 'cheerful, happy' vibe on it but that is how every world starts for me and maybe I was actually trying to encourage those of you not used to starting out alone so you wouldn't see it as such a major set-back.

Do you consider yourself the average player?

I don't think there are many who do.

Bob dole is a filthy casual.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

@loftar Since no one else is asking directly. Is the oath issue intentional or not?
