Teleportation removal will happen for realz if my pestering skills are as good as I think. Also, plum trees ;)

Teleportation removal = instant trade stoppage, drama stoppage and A LOT of deaths.
Keep that idea until next fourth month.

I think politics are too globalized as it is. A village shouldn't be able to project it's power throughout the whole world.

If it's world size of Earth, sure. If it's world size of Europe, sure. But HnH world isn't even size of damn Germany.

Not that I completely agree with the removal of teleportation, but:

I don't really think it's a "realism argument". As the world currently stands, it's not that hard for a large organized village to project its power throughout the world, even if you were to remove teleportation. The game world isn't really that large, and even back in the 12x12 w3 days, it didn't take more than a day to get from one location to the other. The world size/empire power argument isn't a realism argument, it's just simply the facts. Until the world is expanded grossly or natural obstacles such as impassible mountains or vast oceans are implemented, it's still going to be mostly policed by superpowers, regardless if you remove teleportation or not.
