It is a server-side feature, but the client can affect it by sending an integer argument for the "make" message sent by the crafting window; send zero to craft one time only and non-zero to craft continuously (which is the default if no such argument is sent).
(Edit: The official client has now been gifted with a "craft all" button, for which Ctrl+Enter is a shortcut)

As for the Perception debacle, I'm not quite sure yet. I'd like to evaluate it for some time before passing judgement on it.

To be honest i am very disappointed by this update (and i got access to two mines).
Even considering the game is not created for its community but for the game itself, you still have to deliver some features to keep your alphatesters playing.
Many people are complaining about not having access to a mine, they are very limited in what they can build and what they can do in this world, while the mineowners can do everything. So instead of making new "nature" features for the people who arent that priviliged, like boats fucking finally, or animal husbandry, you instead even nerf their possibilities to trade (alcohol nerf and qualityseeing nerf and empower the mineowners with new recipes.

I see no craft all button.

You automatically craft all, just move to cancel.

I sense a disturbing lack of boatage. That is all.
Surprise.
