There, I'm back again. :)

I just restarted the server to see if it was merely some transient electrical failure, but it doesn't seem to have been, because the disk wasn't found again. I will now proceed to request a replacement disk from Hetzner. I cannot tell right now how soon they'll be able to put it into the server, however.

He had redundancy on the other HD, I believe.

Indeed. Except for the minimap data which takes too much space for that. That's why it has been lost.
