Nope, its using 300MB ram and about 50% cpu straight away, iirc it was way less.

However, i just killed sabinati when sparring, beacuse he got kod after the first SoS hit for ~70 damage. The next one did 700 damage and killed him. I wasnt fast enough to inrerrupt it, because i didnt think it would hit at all, he had full defense.

yep the storm of swords still hits after sparring ends

I thought they said they changed how damage was done (sqrt), why are you still doing 700 damage? or did you do a ton more than that before the update?

Hm. That's obviously a bug, indeed. I am afraid SoS may well be broken and in need of nerfing, however; it's the attack I was most worried about of them all.

You may want to check the update in the OP, btw.

I like your intention, however it didnt really workout, at least not right now. I fail to see that hitting a guy with a plate armor does more damage than with a sword. That whole thingy will sure need more tweaks.
This doesnt change the fact that combating now is a Charging and Jumping until you have the requirements for a special move. If i do it wrong, you should be the one to best me, so if you want to prove me wrong, got some time for some sparring? :)

I am assuming I am missing a necessary skill to use my axe, because I am totally unable to make a chop attack, but which one is it?

And so without any fixing mentioned of defense or attempts to curtail the murder/griefing crap. There's a complete map reset so the new reset world can be basically the same as this one,except with sparring and this combat stuff for the pvpers but everything else..the murder alts and random griefing killing remains? wow. So, excuse the dense-ness, please someone enlighten me, but exactly what is the map reset acutually for then? I know, sounds smartass but I'm serious...is it just a reset to allow more people to try to be top griefer/murderer or is there actual changes in the mechanics (aside from this combat stuff).

Which, on an interesting sidenote, according to the statement above about no one except WV griefers ever logging into the test server to mess with/test this combat stuff, perhaps it should be noted that obviously the majority doesn't give a crap about the murder/greifing pvp foundation of this game?..lol Maybe the majority wants to farm, trade, build and play after all...lol

Don't get me wrong, I've wanted a map reset, I just thought it would be after the game mechanics like vending and playing without fear of constant griefing, were made playable. I'm not sure I understand how this new "world" will be any different than the current one aside form wiping out the griefers, who will just use the same mechanis to do the same thing again, and there still won't be any economy, vending, ect,ect.
