(That's a joke, but the thought is still the same. I don't really have a problem with your suggested solution, but if the reason you need mods is because j/l don't have time to properly admin the game then how do you expect them to admin the mods?)

It's bad enough they can associate IPs with user accounts and track in game alts using this information, there's no way I would trust anybody, myself included, with that sort of power. It's literally impossible not to be biased.
If you're gonna have GMs they need to be impartial outside sources, not involved community members.

These are dark times indeed... The end is near.

I agree entirely. I'm sorry but we are not endless sources of impartial knowledge and power. Ideally players wouldn't even be able to know who the GMs were or have any ability to communicate them aside from complaint tickets.

Because it's their game. They've earned that right. I trust their discretion in these matters. It's counterproductive for them to be anything but unbiased. They don't actively play the game. They don't have a vested interest in the success of one group or the failure of another. Also, if they wanted to cheat then they'd just cheat. They already have that power. They can just make their character invincible. Regular mods don't have this power. The only way they could gain an advantage would be to abuse their powers to punish their rivals.

It just feels like everybody wants to complain, but when a solution is brought forth everybody cries out "Not it" or they wanna deride it.
you'll all flame me for this, but some time ago I said I wouldn't want the power, but hell, somebody's gotta do it. So Give it to me. Otherwise, stand up for what you are, and cry out "enough"
What's the worst I would do? nuke only one side?
