I have a question not related to the previous posts. Let's say that an individual is well behaved and does not break any rules nor instigate any problems? However it is discovered that the individual is an alt of a banned account. How does the moderator respond to this discovery?

PS: this has no relations to me as I just want to know.

Moderators can see poster's IP addresses, and when two accounts post under the same address, they're almost certainly the same person.

If they post outside of this thread, it's considered ban evasion, and the alt account is suspended permanently. At least that's what I've seen.

I got my main account and the alt account permabanned for posting with the alt when my main was banned.
With the alt I was only answering HDI questions and not posting anything harsh.
