I just thought about how painful this would be if the coming of world 7 was just one big lie

Being absolutely perfectly impartial is something that we can barely hold even our highest authorities to and we know that they are not perfectly impartial, they come with their own biases and attitudes. I'm some guy on the internet; even if you believe that you can trust me to perform my duty without evil, it is better not to. Given such in-game power you could leak information, abuse knowledge that you find, get access to information that no one else has, and the temptation to do wrong will always be there. Especially when you consider that no one would ever know or find out if you played your corruption smart.

The worst thing that you could do is provide an unfair playing field. Even once would violate the trust of players. Someone who is not playing, not being bullied by players, not being pressured by their friends, not being pressured by their enemies, and who is not tempted by the community in any way would be the best candidate to not backstab anyone in any way.

Sheesh man, don't know if your keeping score, but the current events of H&H isn't all that good. How much worse can it get. I mean we've had players abuse alts to save their village. We've had players abuse trolls to break into villages, We've had players abuse clients with keyloggers, we've had people who found exploits in others custom clients and abuse that to log peeps outta game(ender's client area chat bug) We've had server attacks, we've had peeps shut down servers. And I haven't even started about the bug rams, authority object defense etc etc etc.

It's like you want the highest standard of integrity for guarding a pile of crap.

there's some kinda blight in this game these days, and everybody knows it's wrong. But we can tell em no or we could let it go. But I'd rather not be in the wrong. (basically livin' on the edge lyrics, with me changing some of the words)
