Exactly. See, I myself have aquired a brick wall settlement but it was not mine to begin with. I was fortunate enough to discover it being abandoned. It was a large enough area that it appeared to be a pretty decent Village at one point. So my friend and I took it for ourselves and we just started about, a month, to two months ago. Well, we came back to playing after about a year hiatus.

We have only been playing this game all-in-all since near the end of the last world. It's not that hard to sit down, and think "alright, well, I know to do this and this in order to survive."
I have NEVER strived to join a village. Heck, I have never even been able to have access to good, high quality materials. Yet I still play. Irregardless if I come across big villages, or big personal claims.

As Kriegwolf said "W7 won't be W7 without a promised overhaul. So we have to wait."
I think that is the main point that noone seems to understand. If the Devs just simply "reset" the world, nothings going to change.
Scooby Doo taught us that the real monsters are humans.

Any change is always welcome, of course.

However, i'm expecting W7 not because of possible changes but facts as everybody getting reseted, settlements getting deleted, world getting faster to load, less lag and old players coming back to play .

Only the first two are guaranteed. Word from Jorbtar is that the changes are going to make it functionally an entirely new game which will probably bring "more" lag, and from what I've seen, the old guard don't like change so much so they might say Buh Bye for good, some already have.

In my opinion, cycling in fresh blood constantly isn't terrible. If people get fed up because an alpha game changes to try and work better? Well, then there's a good chance that the game is better off without them. Stagnation is the greatest enemy of innovation and design.

And the point of others is: if you're not in a group pushing to find the good resource spots and set up a palisade in under 48 hours and a brick wall in under a week, you're still behind, so it doesn't matter if you play now or at the start of a new world. It's really not that hard of a point to understand. People "fall behind" not because they're just starting out but because they don't have the organizational skills and numbers required to keep up.

Also, the notion that there is a "second place" is ridiculous. There's not even a first place, just the current king of the hill which can be shoved off at any moment if someone finds the right leverage.

My point is not new thing's introduced to the current game (how many times do i have to say that?), it's still going to be the same game as it was. I remember when new foods and items where added to the game. It didn't change the game just gave new thing's to do, adding study with curi-o's was a big change and I remember that as well so that would be an exception.

At the start of this world I had single handedly built a good sized pali in short order, killed a bear before anyone else in my village (got killed by a bore very early on) and was planning my farm for trees and crops way ahead of time.

The village was set up way to close to a super power and I wanted to move out away, soon ended up splitting up and I ended up alone witch I find very boring and not very fun or productive.

Finding an abandon village and taking it by village idle is good but you guys should know that playing this game with a team is a lot easier and get's so much more done a lot quicker and is the key to a successful village no matter how powerful they are.

And it is true that even the strongest village can be whacked and leveled by and organized group but at this point it's not a wilderness exploration its an urban battle field, while that’s all good I need to skill my toon in relative peace before all hell breaks loose. lol!

I would love a world 7. Now that summer is here, I would have a lot of time to blow on a RP thing.

The fact is people saying "I'm bored with World 6" or "I'm not powerful enough in World 6" is not a reason to reset. The superpowers are superpowers because they have large numbers that are well organized, and they know the game inside out. If there was a reset now, with no changes between Worlds 6 & 7, we'd be right back here in a few months. You might think with the restart you'd be on equal footing, but you won't be, others will power-rush to murder and brick walls, and you'll be in more danger than now when you can find an abandon outpost with a prebuild wall.

If you don't like hermiting, join a group. What with Dis, Ainrain, and Winterfell all being at each others throats, if you can pull your weight they'd likely love to have some help. I personally don't like big groups, because I don't want to be banished to farming and gathering curios for the main fighters. If that's what you wanna do, there are people out there who would recruit you.

Start fresh, enjoy the game as is, once Salem is released and Jorbtar can put more work into H they will and World 7 will be different and exciting for everyone.
Today is a good day to die.

Stop being so reasonable, it reflects poorly on the rest of us.
