Sad we can't actualy take a poll to look at how many people actualy want it (because of the use of alts). That would be a great way for the devs to know wether they are taking the right decision wiping everything :D

I couple months ago I made a post saying a world reset would be good, and every single person who posted hated on me lol... Maybe by now they have come to their senses and have realised that a world cant live forever

There's no way to know that. They might surpirse us any day with extra content. You never know, but I indeed doubt it too.

You might want a reset, because you have nothing in this world.
Ofcourse people that are starting new anyway want everyone to be on the same level as them.
I've built a nice place, and I'm quite happy with this world being around for another 6 months atleast.

I just started playing H&H around 5-6 days ago. The progress I have made might not seem like a lot for others, but for me it is.
I wouldn't really appreciate a wipe at this point, despite of the world being old. It's still running fine, despite of the few crashes there are.
If the wipe however, brought this, I'd be fine with it then. But that's very unlikely.

no worries, there would be no reset for another long while because there is no point to do so when devs want to rewrite the game. they just have the server up for us who still want to/or can enjoy it as it is.

I'm really happy with where I am now, I would be really sad if the devs would wipe the world right now. I hope this world will last for quite a while.

Idealy I would be happy with a system where there was never a reset and you are free to continue to improve, build upon and modify your surroundings.

For those that get bored there is nothing to stop you creating a wilderness char and doing it all again, the same as you would with a reset. I have my village, another pclaim base and a couple of wilderness chars, one I travel the map with, the other has now made yet another small base, lol. It doesn't have to stop just because you now have a village.

Tbh, playing on those other chars just makes me appreciate my village and renews interest in it - I've never really enjoyed the starting out process as much as I do once i'm established and have more time and freedom to be creative.

That's the stated goal. A server that doesn't need a reset.

I agree with all what you just said. But a world wipe isn't just starting all over again like you would when you create a new character.
A world wipe means a new race to be the best (some people are very competative). A world wipe also means new chances of finding and defending real high quality nodes.
This last one can also be done by expanding the map again, which I personally would love. I like to explore and find new good stuff.
Hope you have a great day

Yes, you're right in part - but, when it comes to nodes so many ppl have quit there are nodes to take over, also I'm sure there are still some that haven't been discovered yet, it's a big map. I've found nodes in the 65/75q range on my map travelling char, I know that's not the best you can get but I'm sure there is still higher out there.
The race to be the best in terms of competition has passed but that does not mean you can't still be the best, even if last. (I'm not sure that makes sense, lol, I'm tired)
If you're that competitive, you can always fight to be the best, it is pvp after all - :D - also what you'd have to do if they do ever reach a stage where resets aren't needed.
