For those that get bored there is nothing to stop you creating a wilderness char and doing it all again, the same as you would with a reset. I have my village, another pclaim base and a couple of wilderness chars, one I travel the map with, the other has now made yet another small base, lol. It doesn't have to stop just because you now have a village.
Tbh, playing on those other chars just makes me appreciate my village and renews interest in it - I've never really enjoyed the starting out process as much as I do once i'm established and have more time and freedom to be creative.
I agree with all what you just said. But a world wipe isn't just starting all over again like you would when you create a new character.
A world wipe means a new race to be the best (some people are very competative). A world wipe also means new chances of finding and defending real high quality nodes.
This last one can also be done by expanding the map again, which I personally would love. I like to explore and find new good stuff.
This is why I want a new world. I could never compete with a large village. But on day 2 of the world I can mass slaughter entire villages. I've done it lol.
And it looses the cool exploring factor when its a old world. In the beginning if you find a cave on day 3 and make a base and it has iron in it its great. Now its easier to just find a inactive base with a cave.
In a new world when you find that stuff, it just feels so great. Now if you find something there's nothing that special about it. Some of the highest qualityt stuff I have ever had I found in a hidden cellar of an inactive base lol (there was a bed over it so that you couldn't see the cellar, and it has amazing stuff inside). In a new world you wont find tons of steel just sitting there, you actually need to get it yourself.
