ability for better inheritance doesn't give you any advantage over anyone in combat right? It's only when and if you die. You don't get bonus LP, you don't learn faster, you just pay to resurrect with more LP (you lose less as you would without that).

Which would be an enormous benefit in a protracted war. 1on1 combat is just a tiny part of PvP in this game.

Then it'll be easier to create new account. And alt on another account even more convinient. They could make account cost like 2$ to create, and character slot cost 1$.

Yeah, but unless you're paying you won't be able to log on more than one character from a single IP address. There are ways around that of course, but it quickly becomes more hassle than just paying a little money.

$1 per gate to make it use a permission system rather than a key. They'd be makin a chunk of change.

No, as in, ALL character slots. Including your first one.

Is it planned to be F2P? I was under the impression it started off as a one-time-sell? In which case if that one time purchase comes with an account (or tied to steam account or some shit), that would easily stop alting around, make the game cost $5~10 on Steam(/etc whatever), and extra slots cost $1~2, no limit. Instant solutions.

If the game is free, there is no point in selling slots, especially if you cannot login to multiple characters on the same account, which IMO is most of the point of alts (Multiboxing/Multclienting)

It's business as usual around here, except the family is expecting a new child.

I kinda just noticed. So congrats :D

I think games are better off started F2P for a while and then after start charging. Give's the first player's a reward so to speak.
