Basically the left and the right halves of that map (and supergrid really) aren't connected by water (unless you go like 3/4 of the way south and then back up again). I made the road so I could easily explore the other half of the area. Now I can't fucking get anywhere without a huge detour.

EDIT: Although there's not much reason to head over there anymore anyway. That mountain was one of my main foraging grounds but now that's half gone too.

yes thats the first thought i had when i saw that road, looks like a fellow gatherer useing the rivers as a highway. i thought of building a road between rivers like that but the work seemed prohibitively costly for the benifits i'd get. since you spent the effort to construct it and its now nuked, i offer my condolences. perhaps you can repurpose the road into a tourist route, the road to the wastes.
This game really needs a great sword...

Thank you for that road! We were using it when we were in our first steps in the world.

Tests for typical gameplay now can be fake, how should I know that founded bug isn't connected with hardware problem? At least we could test recovery mode of the game and for sure I can say rollback was a fail. I am only asking does the impact of the whole incident isn't too big and testing is still possible.

Server is lagging like shit recently. With 400 people online and I get several lag spikes every minute.

im sorry, but i am not quite sure what your point is in your post there.
when i get raided randomly and loose nodes or my cattles or village or whatever, not as a consequence of any crimes, isnt it almost the same as getting hit by natural disasters, aka "nuke"?
you may insist that players could have avoided raids with complete brickwalls, but not all players can achieve in time.
you may insist that players could take back what they lost from raiders, but not all players can achieve that.
or am i missing your point?

@Koru

something happens what seems like a bug report it - Jorb and Loftar will find out if it's a bug or a Hardware failure i think. They made the decision to do this way, so they wil have to handle it.

I am not talking about unbalanced players world, actually it doesn't matter cus it is always some way for larping ;). I am worried that now we might have bugs and troubles caused by "server hardware problem" that normally would never had an opportunity to exist. I gave an example, that rollback made such problems but nobody said it have to that way.

Since the hardware probems and the nuked areas lag has been noticeably worse so logically that is proabably something to do with it. If you want a technical answer can't help you :P

Previous to this I seldom had lag issues although my daughters computer lags terirbly with this game. She learns a new skill and then has to wait 15 seconds for the game to respond again.
