A Plea for Moderation

LoW, you have very clearly demonstrated that you are toxic to the community and have done everything in your power to drill this in. While I realise that this won't be a popular request, I would like to ask that LoW be given another chance and that his ban be changed from perma to a suitable shorter term period to give everyone the time to chill the fuck out about it.

My motivation for this is that I believe (for whatever obscure reason) he CHOSE to behave like an ass and I actually believe he has the potential to be a valuable contributor to the forums, if he CHOSE to be one. He may have been a dick very often, but he's not stupid.

I would like to see him get a 2nd chance, if he would like to have one.

It's not easy being the devil's advocate, and you deserve commendation for that. That being said I disagree entirely; he was already given his 2nd chance. All he had to was sit it out for his first ban length, hell nobody even jumped his shit too hard when he came here complaining about it the first time. He was told no, that he'd have to wait, and for whatever reason he hit the wall at that and decided to start randomly insulting people and generally getting under their skin.

You can disagree with a rule, disagree with a ban, but having a flagrant disregard for them and the people who donate their time to keep this place from turning into absolute anarchy is the line on my opinion.

You are right, he had a choice to be civil, sit out his ban and come back to do whatever he want while still posting under the leniency this forums moderators grant every single one of us, but....

I have to disagree as well. You're right, he CHOSE to act this way and now he can suffer the consequences. Windmaker managed to wait the one week without going berserk so I don't see why Lord of War couldn't do it either. The guy clearly has some issues and frankly he doesn't deserve to post on his main account for a good, long while. (or any account really but it's up to him to waste his time doing that)
