A sidenote: Loftar, if you're going to open-source the client again, please comment your code. Either you wrote the whole thing in one night on a crack-binge or you're some wizard, because that shit is hard to follow.

I did enjoy this, however:

Bootstrap bill = new Bootstrap();

"If the 2.5D update comes with a revert of the awful study system, I know a dozen or more people who would immediately start playing again."

It's not irrelevant to the thread, mods.

Yes it is. You're vying for an old system that worked for you in a small portion of the world. On the grand scheme of things the curio system worked better but still had its flaws. Ideally a new system needs to be produced that encapsulates everything that we know.

You're trying to ignite a pointless argument that has already lost. You will not be getting the old system back.

Ironic isn't it? That the jorbtar's biggest problem feedback-wise is all these reactionaries?
The low life has lost its appeal
And I'm tired of walking these streets

You tell me. :P

(21:40:14) <Oddity> cool
(21:40:36) <loftar> Not to mention I'm on my way to have a new, better tiling model working for Hafen.
(21:40:44) <loftar> So things are good. :)
(21:41:04) <Oddity> How will it be better?
(21:41:13) <loftar> Well, in a couple of ways.
(21:41:30) <loftar> But the teaser feature I'm advertising it to Jorb with is that ridges no longer have to be straight lines, as they are in Salem.
(21:42:11) <Oddity> I'd like to see screenshots when you can do that :)
(21:42:42) <loftar> Perhaps. :)
(21:43:06) <loftar> I'm just a bit worried about putting up screenshots for people to hype around when the whole thing still possibly quite a bit away.

April 02, but I was too lazy to post it at the time.

Aw, but hyping around screenshots is what keeps the forums churning pre-update. Like tossing very small fish into a frenzy of sharks every once in a while.

I'd like to point out here that I'm 100% positive I "won" that internet argument the second they started saying "troll". Just because you don't agree doesn't mean you're right. So even though we all get gold medals in the special olympics we call forum arguments, I was standing on the tallest step, right between the tree who took second place and the kid with no lower jaw who took third.
