Why does there have to be a pay option?
They said it was going to be free, and if you feel like giving money, im sure there will be a salem donate option.
Im not saying this to be greedy, but you guys come out of nowhere when a P2P arguement over something that is (so far announced) free.
Paradox is publishing, publishers don't publish on a nonmonitary system. Let's hope for that's! TF2 hat simulator style!
If that's true, then this game is so dead.
Going free to play might seem nice at first, but then you take a look at other F2P games recently made by other corporations and such and you wonder "What cheap trick are they gonna add THIS TIME?!".
World of Tank has the "easy in, hard out" feeling where starting is cool and all that, but it becomes a grind and they practically FORCE you to buy things mid game just to compete... Heck, they felt that a Lowe is "outperforming" it's price tag of 7500 Gold (about $40 vaue btw!) So they are increasing it to 12500 Gold (About $53 BTW!).
BTW, it costs you 49.99 to get 12000 gold, the price they set it to is 12500 meaning if you start at 0 gold, and want to get a lowe, you'd have to buy gold TWICE!
I hate that trick they use, it's absolutely capitalism...
Really, I understand some games where the value of said digital items are around $1~10 dollars, but why the heck is the f2p industry going for a $30+ dollar digital value on online transactions?!
