Lag increases around animals. I'm not sure if that helps or hurts your effort to pin down the cause, but animals nearby make it worse. The more animals the worse the lag.

Why won't you try upgrading ( " updating " trying to make less lags, add some stuff, fix bugs etc. ) HnH, sorry for my opinion but Salem sucks...characters looks like gay, monsters are "O_o" and these all witches, magic etc...it stinks

He already said its the os. The animals have nothing to do with it. It might just be your more into the game so you notice the lag more.

once he finds that out he has 2 options:

Salem first beta was mostly placeholder, now it's half finished and open beta. Don't tell me that devs would change ALL models for final release after open beta... They won't. Graphics is almost final, maybe little touches here and there. And it's still ugly as sh*t. Sorry but it's ugly.
