Your idea is horribly inefficient from a development standpoint, though. With just 2 of your crystals, that means that whenever we were to add a new piece of clothing, Jorb would need to make three different variants of it (I don't see that they could be auto-generated), where most of the variants won't even ever be seen by anyone. That would be a huge deterrent to adding new clothes to the game.


But what about adding different dyes? In Guild Wars 2, for example there are tons of different dyes, which you can obtain both in game and in shop (as I remember they have item like "Unidentified dye", from which you can receive random dye). After you unlock dye, you can use it to colour any item you have as many times as you want. Dyes should be much easier to implement I think.

@Justin_Nevermind: Well you see in RPG MO when your in combat your unable to be bothered by captchas. It waits and hides until you finish your battle and then pops up.

Now I've been brainstorming all day about the captcha thing. The best solution I came up with was to have a timed captcha of maybe 10-15 minutes. You had this time to complete 1 captcha "correctly" or you'd get permabanned. If you logged out the timer would freeze the clock until you logged back on. The captcha would pop up somewhere on the screen but you'd still be able to play the game normally. 15 minutes is enough time to complete it, even during combat if your running. I don't think your gonna be combat locked for 15 minutes TBH. What this solution would do is eliminate sleep botters. People who leave their bots running while their at work, sleeping, or just AFK. But it wouldn't get rid of people who watch bots play the game for them. And captchas should only appear once every 1-2 hours at least.

I also think captcha points should be implemented for people who complete the captchas. The more captchas you complete, the higher the rewards you get for being "legit". Could be cosmetics or something. I don't know, tell me what you think.

I think that just disconnecting if captcha was not solved in 15min for example, would be enough, instead of permaban. If you was disconnected cause of captcha, you will have to solve it once again, when reconnect.
People who watch bots play game for them are actually playing it, but in a very strange way, aren't they?
About captcha points I think it would be nice just to increase intervals between captchas, until some maximum (for example, you start with having to enter captcha every hour, and if you are solving it correctly each time, you end with 8h intervals). What do you think?
P.S. About captcha solving services: they are not 100% accurate, unless they are solved by humans. But services where humans solve captcha for you are not free. So, this would turn like "Pay if you want your bot actually working". And we come with solution of monetizing Haven: Bots for rent!

That would be better I was thinking of just harsher punishments. I like the disconnect idea a lot. But maybe if you fail to solve it the first time, you'll get disconnected. Then when you log in again, you only have 30 seconds to solve it before getting kicked again. I like the interval idea, I was thinking of the same thing. And then they start botting... Overnight all over again.

Hi! Sorry but I'm a bit lost. I was away for about a year now and I was waiting for the new version. There are so many pages on the forum related to the subject that I can't find what I want.

I used to play with the Ender client. Does anyone know if it will still be usable?
Will the new version have its own client or change in the way it works?
Why do you drive on the left in Japan instead of the right?
Will the last world (world 7, I think) be wiped?
Is there a changelog or an updated FAQ somewhere? I can see several "Keeping you posted" posts, but maybe it would be a good idea to have a place where all the info on the new version is gathered, if there isn't one yet. You know. For newbies and for lazy idiots who forgot to take care of their houses for a full year...

So many questions, so little time. I don't want to be missing out this week-end :D

This subject was in here. Forget about it. No reason to do something against it. Wasting of time. Bots->antibots->better bots->beter antibots->better bots.
About captcha: you AFK, you drunk, you sleepy, it's agains your religion. Choose one. Permabanned.
