that idea is pretty cool. so basically instead of killing them you kidnap them. if the person doesn't want to pay the ransom, they can just suicide and inherit. otherwise they would have to negociate to be released i guess.

Surely it would be easy to escape, when you're off chopping down logs for their palisade, just build a boat behind a tree and you're off. Also there should be a very low chance of being able to capture someone, like 1 in 100 chance. And who's gonna get 50 ropes? That's 500 plant fibres.

We pulled that after I had wall:ed the 2min reboot message, when we realized that it might not be good if people are capable of completely ruining other people's ancestors, characters and everything by knocking them out repeatedly. The one minute fix idea was to reduce HHP by ten percent, but that would make murder more useless than it already is. Finally, 30 seconds later, we scrapped that and held off.

You came very close to raeg-fest-2k10 tonight, my children.

Stupidest griefer shit I've ever seen, never in my life have a seen devs try to hard to grief players and their own game rather than making it better all to satisfy some inner sicko love of greifing.

Love the slave labor idea. I'd chain my prisoners to an oven, give them flour, make sure their chains are a hair short of reaching the nearby apple tree and well, and set their mission to baking one apple pie.

Then you see an army coming in your city. They destroy your walls, kill your citizen, and leave an apple near that oven.
Unfortunately, the slave wasn't online.

I love how you all love the idea
of someone else doing your
tedious tasks, yet... may i say
it again? YOU WOULD BE THE
SLAVE, you're not at 200 in a
combat stat yet and you don't
have access to 50 rope, who do
you think does have the ability to
break through your wall and rope
you up?

read it, read it... c'mon i know you
can ^^

(you.. would.. be..the..slave)
