so do beer, wine, fried eggs, and sacreblue

Also, no shiftclicking off the table, and no putting tables in boats.

So me and some other guys had a feast, it was pretty fun. Also, a good use for charisma.

Yeah, this update was amazing for what it is. I can say this is the most fun I've had in H&H in a while, although a large part of that is social.

A couple of points me and my feast-mates had:

Fire pits are buildable inside. This is awesome and changing it would be a shame worthy of clown tears. Being able to build a real inn would be (well, is sweet beyond comprehension.

It would be really nice to be able to make such things public (village improvement, village improvement, village improvement!), too.

'Advanced pancakes' (and, in fact, most fried items) seem to not go on the table. Shift + Click doesn't work either (just moves them around).

Being able to fit more hearthlings at a table would be nice, but I dunno how it would affect the numbers. (We had about 45% hunger which was just ridiculous).

I also don't like the aesthetics of 'long tables' still having legs every tile. Tablecloths are purty, though, and I can't wait to get a silk one.

Durability of non-metal items is pretty low, but that seems appropriate. I just wonder if it's the same for silk? I didn't check the exact values but that seems like it could get to be a pain in the ass.

Anyway I meant to be brief but I suck at that so forgive me if I'm being incoherent. I'm gonna go collapse from exhaustion now.

Bonfires and tables should be buildable in caves and mines, if only for the atmosphere.

went through the updates this morning and it struck me that there is no ceramic plates or mugs (made from clay), also since we got wineglasses why not add them to the tables too? (i haven't tested feasting yet, so i dunno if you can actually use wineglasses aswell)

They have said different.

You cannot, nor can you use beer/tankards.

Implementation with current drinking implements and the new ones would be nice, especially during a feast.

Yep, I had my first feast. I have to say, it was a lot of fun. Ill leave off comments on balance for a couple weeks, so I have a better idea of the effects on gameplay, but it doesnt seem as dire as has been presented in this thread. Looks like with this mechanic and some in-game work, you can get stat grouth about the same as before the food-fix, and when not feasting you dont have to eat as much. Not too shabby.

Would have thought the wine glass and wine bottle could be equipped to the table.

Perhaps I'm thinking of a dinner party rather than a feast.
