Nobody knows what is going to be in this game, so nobody can say anything about this.

But we do know, they've announced it already to reporters and the like.

Humors are categorized by four bodily fluids: Blood, Phlegm, Yellow Bile, and Black Bile. Blood is your health. Phlegm is your non-combat stamina, so for chopping trees, digging clay, etc.. Yellow Bile is your combat stamina, so for shooting people in the face, stabbing someone in the gut, or firing a bow aimlessly into a tree. Black Bile is your ability to progress as a character and learning abilities, much like experience points/learning points. Running out of any one of these will cause you to go unconscious. If attacked while unconscious you die. You re/gain humors by eating food.

Gluttony is a bit of a strange concept. You advance in the game by filling up your various humors by eating various types of food. To raise the cap on your humors, you enter glutton mode. In glutton mode you must fill certain humors beyond their normal limit. The problem being that food fills humors randomly. Higher quality foods fill certain humors more precisely.

The idea itself wasn't flawed it was just fucked up the way it was done, same with this system, there may indeed be merit to going with a mix, and I guess when we start to see more people breaking the shit out of the current system, we'll eventually either see better implementation or again a whole 'drop it and change' deal like W5.

I enjoyed the old system, but if people can bot to absurd combat skills i really want no part of it =s

Point is to mix both systems and make old system pointless to bot. So you don't have anything to bot or get LP. You only get LP for stuff that are very very hard or impossible to bot.
New system flaw is that you don't really need to play game actually, you just log in one time per day and you are ok.
If we reduce study time, we also need more curios which means we need more foraged stuff and materials to make crafted one. To compensate this I recommended to put back old system rewarding only on few actions.
Today there is no point in killing animals if I don't really need leather or meat or bones. Foxes are pointless to kill, boars almost useless. Same for foraging. Why would I pick up WWW anymore? Yeah I have a chance to get itsy bitsy stuff, but it's so rare, so slow to study and attention consuming so it's pointless to pick it up. I often just throw away that webs and spiders because they are not good enough.
Another option to change LP system is to make training system. So more you work with one skill or with stuff that involves that skill, bigger chance it is to get a point in that skill. Simple as that. But that also make botters more happy so that is why I don't like that.

P.S.: if you can't beat or fight against botters you make botting pointless so there is no point in botting anymore. This is solution. nothing else.

There's a thread already for discussion of the current LP system here: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=16847

Any suggestions or issues with it need to go there, and not here. That or start a new thread in C&I.

Exactly! If it's really important enough for him to discuss, he can petition to have it unlocked or start a thread elsewhere.
