What? They look alright. I don't really like the look of those black lines outlining the tops of the hills, could be more naturally blended with the environment. Seems pretty cool otherwise though, it even looks like they're including a night/day feature by the looks of the different shadowing among the hills in the screenshots. Personally I think the hills (ridges) in Haven are much worse.

How is that a Salem 2? Looks nothing alike.
Step away from the schematic hills is a step in the right direction. I hope we will be able to dig those (Yes, exactly like in Salem, because this particular feature is good)

Mentioning Salem here serves what purpose exactly? It's clear you don't read the Salem forum but I assume you don't play (neither do I really) so why would you. If you did though, you'd know that everyone on Salem forum is complaining about that exact situation, their lack of presence and lack of updates for a long time now. Giving us "fixed haven" is exactly what they are doing. Salem 2? It looks nothing like Salem.

This is exactly what I think is fun about survival games. And you always can choose some flat site and suffer consequences of the easy path.

well obviously the 3d look is going to draw comparisons to their other 3d game, no need to freak out

Fairly certain our definitions of 'freak out' greatly differ
