Correct. We think that that plus the increased difficulty in arbitrarily creating alts at a given location is going to be beneficial for the game's environment. Our perspective would be to approach it as a single-player game first and foremost.

I guess I'm a little late to the party - but i can understand both sides of the argument and nobody suggested a middle ground yet.

Why not allow 2-3 new characters to spawn together & remove respawning/inheritance? That way, I can still introduce others to the game and play together with some close friends - but large guilds with a mob-mentality won't be able to build self-sufficent towns together without needing any outside help. Sure, a solo player can spawn 1-2 alts this way - but how beneficial is that, really? I'd rather have 1-2 friends with me than 1-2 alts.

The stupidity is to throttle power gaming. In what game is dedication and energy rewarded with ridicule and frowned on by forum warriors. Why not give the tools to the dedicated players as in reality its those types of players that really stick around longest and keeps the game evolving.

Its quite stupid introducing the game to an audience then punishing them when they start playing your game more then you expected them to. It reminds me of app games you play on your way to work/school on your cellphone. Is that what this game is supposed to be?

Hm, when it comes to infinite progression I'd like to see incentives to hunt down powerful characters. A super powerful character with 235345 in every stat might be a feat to kill, but if you'd gain the slain character's powers, then suddenly you have a huge incentive to fight the powerful. Of course, more powerful gear (which could be one way of rewarding those who slay the powerful) and less powerful chars means that alting becomes more viable with a good industry going. So is there a way to solve that? Maybe the studying of skulls wasn't so bad, as it will let us keep different gear progression and character progression, but still incentivize killing off the powerful.

Could you guys add a feature like expandable houses, so like you build the main house itself then you can add on like another section of the house. Kind of like how the walls work so you can build big palace's for your villages because that would be totally awesome to build huge mansions and also make it if you do, do that make so you can build walls on the inside so you can make rooms in side the big palace or mansion.
