I actually quite like that terrain. It's barren, for sure, but there are parts of nature that are barren, aren't there? :)

It looks just fine to me. At such an early stage of development I am not sure why so many are overly concerned with the graphics rather than what you guys plan to do regarding certain aspects of game-play mechanics.

What concerns me more is that those lines on the field aren't parallel. What sort of perspective are you using?

What lines is it that you find that aren't parallel? They certainly should be; the perspective should be identical to 2D Haven's.
