What the hell does the system being new have to do with anything? I've stated as much myself in previous posts.

Yup, great long term strategy.

After playing to the second belief slider movement, i can say with absolute certainty:
I got more done in the previous versions in the start of the game when i got XP per action.

Why couldn't you let us get XP normally for the first 25,000? 10,000? 2,500 even?
If the fucking problem is late-game macro abuse you fucking target late-game macro abusable areas. Not smear the same mechanic over the entire starting area where everyone is effectively freshly innocent. But what's going to happen is someone sets up their bot so it sits between multiple containers, one or more filled with massively hunger-filling food, and the others filled with cone cows or whatever the fuck that character has access to. Plow that shit into their study, and have the bot auto-feed the character. The character doesn't do much so the food meter doesn't go down as fast, and it can always be programmed to move slightly or run around in a circuit, and even change the belief sliders to whatever. Then additionally be programmed to logout and go into "low power" mode when it's eaten all the food that's stored, logging in only long enough to cram another fucking curiosity set into their study while offline.
Then they'll keep gaining XP that way, which i have to presume because you didn't mention if any curiosity stops giving xp after X uses in Y timeframe.

Whatever. Too late for me.
My patience is gone for this crap.
Fuck your non-change-logging incompetence
The Dwarf is making a plaintive gesture. He doesn't really care about anything any more.

Hey, I never said that. Or implied that. In any way, shape, manner or form. I did however state the exact opposite, repeatedly. Some of my quotes (paraphrased) include "It's still early days", "we don't have established characters or resources yet" and "something needed to be done about the bots".

You, on the other hand, effectively said "people leaving is good because it means less lag", which can roughly be translated as "our villagers dying is good because we don't have to feed as many people".

this is crap....loved this game....notice the past tense....

it was bad enough when you could go get your stuff back from a thief, theif cries to a ranger, ranger kills you with no questions....

or when some noob-tard plops a aclaim down just past yours and the Powers That Be refuse to do anything because of the Prime Directive (but you have heard rumors that the Beloved Ones had a cliff moved for them)....

but this....

Curiosities? Direct Quotes from Jackard concerning how to run a game? Walking around for 30 minutes going "WTF?"

im not a noob....this is not my first world....but 4 was my lasat....bye yall...it was fun....this crap (ie, World 5) aint

It referred to all these ragequitters who are downright furious because those insolent devs dared to implement a new feature. And we're all better off without them, they contributed nothing but noise on the forums and lag on the server.

just admit it, its not an attempt to remove bots or balance game, its just a random new game mechanic that jorb decided to destroy W4 for

everything will still end with major factions making HQ curiosities and putting 100 bots to just stand in some house and earn LP, and when they earned 10m lp just make hunger macro and feed them str and con food while in the fog >_>

Amen to that

Dno was just getting used to world 4, after getting killed by tunneling russians and all. Cant wait to try the new skills systems and all.

thought @ Jorb/Loftar... Please do fix the cavetunneling to have cave-ins because the networks underground are being ruined :D

um its not random or new, it was tested privately back in september-october 2010 and the testers have been requesting that it be implemented ever since
