its officialy slated for Q3 2012, but will probably come out Q4

Well, Q3 is over in a couple days. Hopefully they will open beta like next month or something.

I've tried upgrading the kernel from the latest Debian Backports kernel (3.2.0) to the latest from kernel.org (3.5.4). Let's see if that has some impact (positive or negative) on the lag.

The lags are less frequent but when you do lag you lag very hard. Long lasting lag but more spread out, it's not so bad atm
