Don't look at it like it would be a real hard task to meet up with your friends in hafen. Sure not as easy as with HS spawning but nevertheless doable with a sworn in team and a good strategy.

You'll be expected to make friends with those around you or figure out a way to meet up. How the latter will be done early on will most likely be hoofing it to one corner and then finding each other.

Funy suggestion for the devs : dont say anything but make the north of the north of the map communicate with the south part, same with east-west, hearth is a sphere after all.

Linking the world borders would probably also mean a size-locked world, ... or some players might find there home split by a new SG one day.

Not spawning with my friends is a big no no. Probably wont' play this game now cause I really only play with IRL friends and they don't trust meeting in a corner. This change makes me very sad as there are not any other games like this to play really and no this one feels closed off to me personally.

It didn't take long before the Haven community gave some shining examples as to why I've only played with the people I hang out with. I would love to meet some decent people who play this game but I've yet to see evidence of their existence. Its a Friday, which I feel is kind of odd, its like they don't value their weekends or have enough faith in it that it won't become a cluster fuck at launch.
