As for customizable village banners and the like, it's fairly high on our list, but it's not going to be there at launch.

Europeans like to wake up at 13pm :D

Why are you so aggro about p2w? Devs deserve to get reward for their efforts and p2w is the best way to achieve that. Who cares about permadeath? Kill'em and let them pay for revival. Then kill again. Noone makes you to pay if you don't want, you can start all over again as usual.

Money should never give you an advantage in games

There was some doubt before but now it's obvious this is an alt/troll account.

Assuming we are all set for launch when our extraordinary dev session on Thursday night ends, we will begin bringing her up when we get to work again on Friday, around -- again, no exact numbers given -- 4-5pm UTC+1. Bringing her up may take some time, as there is a fair amount of administrivia involved, and no one expects anything but an unstable, crashing beast of a server for the first few hours/days.

But such are at least our loose plans at the time of this writing.

You are wrong. I started playing this game recently, maybe i am not enough experienced, but i don't think permadeath is a sacral and untouchable. All you old players have to move your mental slider from tradition to change. Revival doesn't give any ingame advantage.

That's kind of the point, it's supposed to be a stiff penalty for dying, and also serves to help balance the playing board. When a powerful character dies, it doesn't take much for them to return to being a semi-nooblet, or at least much weakened. It's vital for a long term thriving world without resets.

Permadeath is part of why I play, and if it isn't for you, this is the wrong game for you.
jorb: I don't want *your* money. You are rude and boring. Go away.
Sevenless: We already know real life has some pretty shitty game mechanics, it's why we're here instead.
Avu: The end is near it has finally come to pass: I agree with Lunarius...
Shubla: There are also other reasons to play this game than to maximize your stat gain.
