hiya jorb, first off I think the new curiosity thing is cool, I do however think it takes too long to study them.. also I have been to at least 5-6 differnt mud flat areas and not a single piece of acre clay.. are they bugged??

(well, except for leather if its tanning tubs for example, you know what I mean.)

I dont have any problems with the system, but it just takes to much time. Before you could just quickly go hunting and earn some LP, now you'll have to stand in front of a retarded stone for hours to get a shitty piece of crap that gives you 2k LP when you've waited for like 26 hours.

Just make them turn up faster or give LP by portions. As quantums. And the whole problem is solved.
Yuginelol wrote:Y'know , back in World 2-3 we had leatherworker , farmer , hunters , miner etc. They were all doing what they like , so if you want a backpack - ask a leatherworker , he'll be happy to make new one AND GET LP FOR HIS EFFORT. Wanna bump your per a little? Ask farmer , he'll be happy harvest carrot field for you , plant high q carrots back to field AND GET LP TO RAISE FARMING ATT.

Now I see this as every guy in a village will work for himself or to make himself a high q curiosity. No more reward for helping others , just raise curiosities quality for your own use. F*ck the villagers , f*ck everyone around.
GJ anyway , nice try to get rid of lp grinding, Too bad this system is for soloing.

Your point is invalid. You will get curiosities from all the activities. Maybe there will be even curiosity for filling a tanning tub with water. And, to be honest, this system allows us to help each other - how could you give some LP to your friend at W1-W2-W3-W4?

Just bad luck and bad timing. I had run around hunting for some clay as well, and didn't locate any til my 5th mudflat. There are quite a few other folks doing the same, and some had a headstart getting to those clay nodes first. I have already seen several clay cauldrons and kilns being built.

Before I was constantly stressed about doing any old meaningless crap just because standing still implied not learning. That's not how the real world works, and that's not fun. Now I can play at a leisurely pace and do what I actually feel like doing. I don't have to pick up *every* old herb I see. I don't have to spam build fires at the start of the game. I don't have to craft a bunch of crappy saws from left-over bone just because I suspect that doing so will give me some sweet LP. I don't have to grind hunt for meat and stuff that I don't need.

I always usually played without keeping too much immediate attention on the LP I had. I would ignore it for a while, go about my business and come back when I had some to spend. From that perspective not much has changed, really. I played for three hours this morning, fished a little bit and found some early curiosities, went to bed, and now that I got up I have some more LP and a house to build.

So reactionary nubs can QQ moar as far as I'm concerned. Sorry. :)

Hm, okay. So the W4 LP system requite active players who do all to your village the whole day. (If there are not a cheater.)
The new systems supports only them who... uhm.. doing nothing. Right? You craft you study-object and then standig around in a corner, afk. The whole fuckin day.
That means... much more chars. Main char is crafting objects, all other standing around and use them.
Uhm in my opinion is that not a way AGAINST bots and macros, this is a way to legalize them. Now its a other kind of the old cheating stuff. Going afk and make much LP.

Too bad, at night i must shut down my PC, so now iam a looser!? Yeah... i think so.
WTF!!!!
