What *exactly* would be required for that? Would it be sufficient to, say, severely reduce the penalty for being hit while moving?

What if arbitrary movement (outside the combat action) could reset offense and/or initiative instead?

I think that's a good idea :)

the melee combat system in HnH is by far the worst thing about it besides it's community.

Ranged combat is fine though

Just because you are too stupid to understand it doesn't mean it's not awesome.

I like how you call me stupid for not liking a completely shit combat system that no other game has for a good reason, just because you're autistic enough to be so pro at a flawed and crap system doesn't mean everyone else is.

Some sort of system that turns movement into "running away from the fight and no longer trying to engage in it" would be sweet, but how would you effectively chase people down with no movement hits?

I'm saying that, if you aren't going to go through the trouble to figure out the opposing side's argument, then why are you trying to argue about it in the first place? You don't understand the combat system clearly, so you don't know why other people like it.

It's comparable to someone saying they're really good at sucking dicks, and anyone who doesn't know how to or want to suck a dick is an idiot.

Also yeah, ranged combat is even worse imo.

Folks! How about we gather somewhere (square 0,0 for instance) half an hour prior to World 6 end?
Make a biggest online at one place ever, some talks and fun.
And commit a mass suicide :)
Kinda entering a river to come out from it in a newborn world.

If it is 12 hr from Jorb's post it will be at 04-30 am Greenwich time. But I hope Jorb will come up with more precise time.

12 hours? fuck me that's 6AM tomorrow morning... oh well... There are worse things I'd do for a fix of HnH than stay up waiting
Oh boy, here I go cheesemaking again...

I've seen plenty of people get smoked by rangers, myself included. Anyone who thinks ranged combat sucks is a moron.

I understand how the combat system works, get stronk as fuck then run around punching people with your 200+ ua and gain stupid advantage points against your enemy that should be removed because half of the time they don't fucking matter at all when fighting people because they'll just smash you to shit with a high q sword.

The combat system was designed for the autistic user in mind, with tons of clicking/hotkeys and tabs.
