Well...it's 12:36am (or 00:26, as I prefer it) on the 28th of August 2015...

in Germany ;)
Were are these indie rockstars from...sweden?, that should be arround the same time as in Germany....this is going to be a long night...time to prepare some beverages and by that I mean Gallons of coffee

I don't think the game will be up until later this day. (I'm in Norway, same time as in Germany) So a good idea would be to get a good nights sleep before it releases? :)

Assuming we are all set for launch when our extraordinary dev session on Thursday night ends, we will begin bringing her up when we get to work again on Friday, around -- again, no exact numbers given -- 4-5pm UTC+1. Bringing her up may take some time, as there is a fair amount of administrivia involved, and no one expects anything but an unstable, crashing beast of a server for the first few hours/days.

But such are at least our loose plans at the time of this writing.

As for customizable village banners and the like, it's fairly high on our list, but it's not going to be there at launch.

Now I know what it's like to be a mod. Let's repost this more and more.

(Edit: Although one of them thinks they're in UTC+1 and one in UTC+2...)

about learning/experience system:

" The way we’re approaching it, the players will need to – through the event and narration system that I was talking about earlier – players will need to get experiences and trigger them in order to advance in terms of learning. "

this really suggests to me an evolution of salem's system where you accrue points ("inspiration") that are then used up by studying curios. in salem the rate at which you gained those points was a function of your black bile I think (and some skills, but i could be remembering wrong), and you gained them offline I think... so i think probably in hafen you will be able to accelerate that by undergoing these events/experiences, which might then grant you a lump sum of "inspiration points" to be used up.

this is conjecture but i feel like i need to put down my prediction in writing :) - i could be totally wrong of course, but I'm pretty excited so have started speculating wildly.

Okay okay I got it...if it wasn't obvious I didn't expected it to be out in a few hours...and yes....I didn't use the search function, as probably 70% of the <100 Post Users (huh, my mind is unsure if this sentence is complete or lacks a word...it's after 12am, I don't give a sh*t)

Nothing even close to that. Think after to a certain # of time sawing on a log, random # out of 100, you gain the "Woodworking" skill. but you never know which tick gives the skill.

I wasn't condemning you for it, just trying to bump it so more people see!
