Can you please give a hypothetical example of a low level player in combat with a high level player (both using standard melee, of course)?

I'm interested to see how much the gap between the mighty and the weak has been reduced.

So this makes my old red bricks valuable?
Or is it just certain clay making certain colors, got yellow from cooking ball clay.
Testing grey clay atm.
edit: interesting, got grey/black bricks from the grey clay...they look good paved mmm time to harvest
odds are the red is acre, cooking now - does cave clay bake? ... say it's blue... haven't found one yet

Do laid bricks and gold count as "pavement" for decay?

Confirmed

ball clay = yellow bricks
acre clay = red bricks
grey clay = black bricks

Nice to add interest if they all act like pavement. Was sort of boring with everyone having only stone.

I don't think I can hunt now. I only have 74 Melee, and the boars and foxes are well above level 5...

Before, a person with 200 combat skill attacking a person with 1000 combat skill (ie. they have 1000 UC with Dodge, or their MC * 1.25 with Shield is 1000) would remove 10% of their defense bar. Now they will remove 44%.

old sytem: (200 / 1000) / 2 = 0.1
new system: sqrt(200 / 1000) = 0.44

Of course, the person with 1000 combat skill will still clear the 200 guy's defense bar 2.23 times over, whereas before it was 2.5 times. But at least the weaker guy(s) have a much better chance of hurting their more LP-invested opponents now.
