I've thought about that as well. Since "discovery" LP is always the same, the problem should rely on curiosities. But how could you get a negative curiosity? You should have negative quality material to begin with, and you get the materials by plants, foraging and similiar tasks. Tree quality is fixed at 10 and the terrains' quality depends on the value given when the map has been generated. So, unless something failed during the generation and there is a negative terrain in the world, i don't have any idea about how could a similiar episode could happen.
