Thx Loftar. :D

Speaking of lag, we allways had it when rebuilding minimaps after HD replacements, I think it is to be expected until they are complete.
After minimaps done it allways gave us some time of relief, Im looking forward.

Ofc afterwards it most probably get slowly worse again, but maybe we get to enjoy the game for some days.
And thinking on this getting worse again: would it be to difficult to get an autho restart each 24 for hours or so?. Can this even helps us?.

Yep.

I know your hopelessly addicted zealots would still play if you could only click one thing per day, and your computer caught fire every week. But try to imagine playing a game that you were able to enjoy, instead of having to endure. I really wish they would just take the game down and take the time to redo the filesystem or roll back the os or find a different server host or whatever they actually need to do to make the game work right.

I'm unsure if you have been following what has been happening over the past 8 to 10 months. But its been absolutely clarified that Loftar has no free time to spend on HnH. He is working on Salem, if he did have some spare time he wouldn't spend it programming another game at home. He would spend it out drinking at the bar or with his friends or whatever else he has on going in his life. If you believe that this game will ever be improved it will only happen if the server code was open sourced witch Loftar have stated multiple times that it wont ever happen.

Rest assured that there is a strong likelihood of this being the last world and if it was shut down it would forever be gone. The chances of there being a W7 is as unlikely as Loftar fixing the lag today. This is only a hobby of his and therefore if the motivation dies off HnH will be shelfed and collect dust for months or years to come or most likely never at all.

So right now you can either go and play another game or stick with the lag. Us fans of this game don't want to see it disappear until it really is gone. Asking for its removal is like a slap in the face of everyone that are still playing the game and enjoy whatever that is left to offer. There is nothing for you or anyone to gain by this game shutting down.

loftar doesn't like people so he wouldn't do that.

I think he just snuggles up with jorb (because of the cold Swedish weather!) and watches anime when he's not working.

Oh, no! How did you calculate this likelihood?

If Salem is any indication then they've lost all grasp of what makes a game like this fun and interesting, and honestly I think I'd rather see them let Haven rot away in it's current state then try and apply their Salem development philosophy to the game.

Cobalt, if you so strongly abhor Haven and Hearth and the developers who make it, why the flying fuck do you still post on the forum?
Of another era.
